NCICT Year 1, Term 2 takes your foundational knowledge to the next level, introducing you to practical digital skills that are highly sought after in today's tech-driven world. Building on what you learned in Term 1, this term shifts toward creative, technical, and entrepreneurial development.
You will dive into web development, learning how to build and structure basic web pages from scratch using HTML. Alongside this, you will explore the world of computer graphics and photo editing, gaining the ability to create and manipulate visual content professionally.
The term also deepens your mathematical thinking, introducing more advanced computational concepts that underpin modern computing and problem-solving. You will further develop an entrepreneurial mindset, learning how to identify opportunities, think creatively, plan a business, and operate with integrity in a professional environment.
To round off the term, you will apply everything you have learned through a real-life project and gain valuable hands-on experience through industrial training, your first taste of working in a real professional setting.
